Track The Movements by Using SkyTRX Mini Tracker

February 17, 2012

If you do not trust your wife or you always want to know where she is. Or if you want to know where your kids are then you can use gps spy tracker. Here we have another GPS tracking system called SkyTRX Mini. The pocket-size device tracks the movements by using GPS and provides almost exact current locations with a 2.5 meters margin.

Being small and efficient aren’t the only two benefits, actually it’s full of nice features like being able to work with Google Earth. Priced at $260 SkyTRX Mini promises to keep track of 100 hours of data (location and speed every second) but lacks the capability to do it in real time. Which means you’ll have to manually download the data to your PC and find out where the GPS tracker has been.

Sky TRX mini spy Tracker is a very neat gadget that uses the GPS system to locate itself. It is very convenient because you can track somebody any time any day.

It records all kind of data that can be useful when confronting the suspect with questions, you will have answers to – where/when/how fast/how long related to the suspect’s vehicle. The recorded data can be provided on 3 different formats: street map, satellite images, or text report.

The device comes with a magnetic mount to make it easy to attach to steel surfaces and is powered by 2 AAA batteries. It has two LED indicators: one of them indicates the batteries charge and the other one indicates whether the GPS lock is on or off.

If the first LED is green it means that the batteries are good and will still last long. However, when the LED turns red it means that you should replace the batteries as soon as possible. When the second LED is on it means that the GPS lock is on and when it is off it means that the GPS lock is off.

SkyTRX Mini Tracker features:

  1. USB plug
  2. Internal GPS antena
  3. Battery indicator
  4. GPS indicator
  5. Magnetic mount
  6. Battery cover mounting screws
  7. Battery cover

Since it is suppose to work with/on a vehicle, (could be placed on a wallet too but that’s not the scenario I’m creating) it has to be ready for terrible weather conditions and that is why being water resistant is just one more good feature. In terms of battery life it depends on the type if you use alkaline or lithium batteries, and also on the time that the GPS is activated.
